Caledonian Netball Club

About Caledonian Netball Club

At Caledonian Netball Club we strike the perfect balance between being a social, inclusive, and competitive sports club. We offer netball for players of all ages and abilities, from competing in Division 1, to wanting to get back into the sport (it's never too late), or trying something new for the first time (las year we recruited a Korfball player! ). Our 5 senior teams all compete in the City of Edinburgh Netball Association league, spread between divisions 1-4. Adults teams train weekly at George Watson's College and play in CENA with matches on Sunday evenings. We have numerous socials each season including a Cal-oween Fright Night, Christmas Social & End of Season Awards (and a couple of brunches and Arthur's Seat walks thrown in! ). Last season we had 3 juniors teams, made up of players ranging between 7-15 years old, with our under 15s going on to win their age group tournament! We offer a fun and social environment where girls can keep fit, learn new skills and make new friends. Excitingly, this year we've introduced an Under 19s team to support the step up from junior to adult leagues. We are volunteer run and only pay our umpires & coaches (and we're always on the look out for more if you're qualified or looking to take a course! ). We have recently been awarded the Silver Thistle Award by Netball Scotland, in recognition of our excellent structure and commitment to running a safe, sociable and reputable club.
