Hi everyone.. this isn’t a rant but I feel the need to post a gentle reminder... I have spent years of my career being very open and honest about the health condition I suffer with (lupus and fibromyalgia) I have always explained about the ins and outs of the conditions and made everyone aware that unfortunately there will always be days for me where I can’t work or have to ask you to be flexible. The conditions include “flare up” periods where the pain is over whelming and I... fall very poorly.. As you all know I do my best to be accommodating to you all and I often am flexible to everyone’s individual needs and I do very well to work the hours I do and to endure the physical endurance that comes along side hairdressing despite suffering. I adore my job and hate having to have time off due to my illness but sometimes it has to beat me.. this is why I wanted to start my own business so I could be more flexible with my working hours and look after myself slightly more... Majority of you all are very understanding and caring and I appreciate that a lot and so therefore give the same back in return. But if I may ask again for everyone to give a second thought to this and please try to be understanding and patient as health does have to come first to all of us.

I've been visiting Heidi's salon for over a year now and can't believe I haven't written her a review! Heidi really listens to what you want and will tell you if it's achievable with an honest approach. She makes you feel welcome in her salon with drinks in abundance, magazines, lots of chat and laughter. She has coloured my hair which I have always been very happy with and yesterday she restyled my tired hair into a bob which I love! Thanks Heidi :-)
