Using essential oils to clean not only helps you and your family stay healthy, but you’ll also save money, create less waste, and reduce the toxic load on the environment. https://buff.ly/2J311D6 #essentialoils #cleaning #toxic

Lifting and carrying your baby day in, day out, can really take its toll on your neck and back. Here are four simple exercises that are perfect if you need to get those kinks out.

Here’s the potential sweetener trap: eating sweet-tasting foods and drinks tends to promote the craving for more sweet-tasting treats. Cravings aren’t kicked to the curb, they’re coddled and kept.

Some situations require a fairly immediate response, but even just a moment of grounding ourselves before we do so can help enormously. The next time you find yourself wanting to react, try to pause, and in that pause, take a deep breath.

Raising children is hard enough, but if you’re parenting alone, you’re probably facing a whole host of additional challenges. You have the responsibility for your children’s physical and emotional wellbeing as well as your own, and the financial pressures that go along with carrying this by yourself. https://buff.ly/2urkY0B

Hormones increase during pregnancy. Some of these hormones help relax ligaments and other structures to allow a vaginal birth. These same hormones can also relax the ligaments in your feet, leading to flat feet (fallen arches) and over-pronation....

Exercising outdoors torches calories, zaps stress, and boosts energy while setting a healthy example for your baby. "More and more studies show that babies imprint on their moms, and seeing you exercise means they'll be more likely to adopt some of those lifestyle habits," says Druxman. https://buff.ly/2TXz0oO #BuggyfitMaggie

Despite what movies might have you believe, newborns don't emerge from the womb picture-perfect — it often takes a few weeks or months for your baby to turn into the angelic-looking cherub you might have been expecting. https://buff.ly/2YbeL6D #BuggyfitMaggie

Maggie is an excellent personal trainer with a good understanding of the postnatal body. The classes are fun and well structured and very inclusive and welcoming. Having started her fitness journey after her own pregnancies Maggie is an inspiration to all who feel a bit wobbly and unfit. She is brilliant at baby juggling (to allow Mums to work out) and is an all round lovely woman.

I’ll miss buggyfit, now that I’m back at work! Maggie’s classes every week have been one of the best things I’ve done during my maternity leave. Not only I lost weight, I feel fitter and stronger than before my pregnancy. The classes are really fun, relaxed and I made lots of friends.

But the best thing of all was doing it all with my daughter. From the cold winter mornings while she snoozed in the carrycot wrapped up in blankets, to the hot summer days when she joined me on the mat, I have so many great memories of the two of us at the park. And it never really mattered if she was having a bit of a bad day - as someone else said, Maggie IS a baby whisperer.

Can’t recommend Maggie and the buggyfit classes enough! Great way to get back to exercise and get some fresh air after having a baby. Everyone can go at their own pace and there is no pressure. In all my years going to fitness classes no one has ever been as helpful as Maggie with regards to form and posture.... she is the baby whisperer also which helps!! Thanks so much, I’m sorry to be leaving Cambridge and these classes behind.
