The results are in... the new CUGS President is Faith Borland and Vice President is Anna Gardner!
Congratulations to Faith and Anna, and all the nominees! It was a hotly contested race, and went to the fourth count in both elections.
If you feel inspired by the candidates passion for geography, keep an eye out for the rest of the CUGS committee positions which will be advertised soon.

After the close of nominations, there have been three candidates for the role of President, and three candidates for the role of Vice President. No candidates were declared for the role of Treasurer.
Please find below the manifestos for each candidate.
Voting will open at 8am on Wednesday 4th March, and close at 6pm. Results will be announced the following day, as will the opening of nominations for a by-election for the role of Treasurer.

Join us for our charity formal in collaboration with SolidariTee National on March 10th!
Tickets will be going live at 5pm via FIXR, with £2 from each ticket going to charity.

A brief (but important!) note, that nominations for the CUGS Executive Committee and the Research Europe Travel Grant have been extended to midnight on Thursday 27th February. The same deadline will also apply for stash purchases, so be sure to get your order in soon!
