About Cambridge University Orienteering Club - Cuoc

Cambridge University Orienteering Club, or CUOC (pronounced "queue - ock") is an orienteering club based at the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge University Orienteering Club - Cuoc Description

Founded in 1970, CUOC is now one of the oldest and most-active orienteering clubs in the UK. The club consistently finishes within the top five positions at BUCS, thanks to the high level of technical and physical training offered to its members.

One of the club's greatest strengths is in the development of its athletes; many new or inexperienced orienteers go on to perform well at major competitions such as BUCS, the JK and the Scottish Six Days. More experienced orienteers have earned Full Blue status and progressed to representing their countries at international competitions.

Above all, the club takes pride in its inclusive atmosphere and close-knit team dynamics, tying in regular social gatherings with a comprehensive training schedule.
