This is foot to the floor comedy courtesy of Jamie Macdonald, that funny blind guy. Irreverent, hilarious stories from the Glaswegian you don't want driving you home. The master storyteller has uncovered a conspiracy about humiliating products for the blind. It's topical humour with a disabled slant. Charming, disarming, eye-opening comedy.
Jamie MacDonald is a Glaswegian stand-up comedian who just happens to be blind. MacDonaldŌĆÖs blindness... flavours his comedy but doesnŌĆÖt define it. That said, he has found that being blind allows him to extract comedy from lesser explored areas; like the jealousy he feels towards laboratory mice with 20/20 vision and the humiliating range of clothing and accessories sold by the RNIB. Jamie is nothing if not a believer in diversity, meaning Designated Driver can be enjoyed by Blinkies (blind people), Wheelies (people in wheel chairs) and Normos (people with no disability) alike

What a delightful bar full of creativity, fun, lovely staff and customers - and the best gin ’┐Į I had to force myself to leave today after shooting our promo film. It is great to find somewhere who so supports the arts ’┐ĮLooking forward to performing The Deadwood Stage Calamity Jane singalong on 24th May. Gx

Went into this wee pub after the Bay City Rollers gig last night. We were made to feel very welcome by George, Angus & Colin. Colin the DJ went out his way to check the bus timetables at the station for us & playing songs to keep us entertained and up dancing, would definitely recommend a visit to this pub as I know we will be back next time we are in Ayr. Thanks again guys you ended our night in Ayr on a high

We had a fantastic night last night we hired out the private booths through the back and had a karaoke hen party - George and his staff were fantastic at putting up with 20 odd screechy hens well done guys ’┐Į fabulous venue for any event or new hangout

The guy that was on the bar tonight was fantastic was great to talk to and would deffo be back. We are on holiday at Craigtara from Helensburgh. Angus well done for a great time Jamie and Stephen x

I was fortunate enough to go to CameronŌĆÖs Bar in Ayr, a few days after Christmas. I received an extremely warm welcome from George The Owner. I have Thyroid Cancer and asked for a glass of water to take my medication. And was starving hungry and Stuart filled my Shin Cup Noodles with boiling hot water whilst I soaked up the relaxing ambiance. Just superb response!! Within 5 minutes I was made to feel at home. You can use the bar laptop to choose your own music ’┐Į ’┐Į which after working for over 20 years in the hospiltality trade I have never ever see such a kind gesture. I ’┐Į % recommend this gem of a place in the heart ofAyr Town Center. Keep up the Awesome work George & Stuart

George and staff were so welcoming to the Ayrshire Voices after concert drinks last night. We had reserved the wonderful booth area. As many of our lot are of a "certain age", George was more than happy to turn down the volume for us so we could chat away. Thanks George and staff. We'll be back!

Fabulous bar in a great position. Friendly staff with a warm welcoming atmosphere. This is going to be the place to be. We had a great night and there is something different on each night. We will be back.

Brilliant music, lovely staff and a great place to be. My daughter had a birthday get together last night and it was the perfect place to have it. Free hire of the private booths at the back of the pub and your own choice of music. We all had a wonderful time, thanks to George and all staff.
