Cameron'S School Of Martial Arts

The main aim of Cameron’s School of Martial Arts is to instruct people in various ways to defend themselves, and others, against a wide range of threats.

We practice the contrasting but complimentary Martial Arts of Kempo Ju Jitsu and Tang Soo Do.

We have classes in Scourie, Gairloch Maryburgh and Ullapool that are suitable for six year olds and above, including adults.

The classes are of benefit to anyone wishing to participate in a regular form of exercise in order to improve their fitness levels. Over time the techniques will improve the participant’s strength, stamina and endurance as well as their balance and flexibility.

However, the Classes also benefit our mental health in many ways too. Having an extended family, a support network, a period of time away from the grind of day to day life, having a series of short term goals and long term goals to aim for are all beneficial to our mental health.

A great emphasis is placed on discipline and respect & this is also encouraged to be taken into daily life as well as within the confines of the class and has proven to be a great way of improving an individual’s confidence and outlook.

The training will be a combination of fun and hard work but you will only get out of it what you put in.

The classes will be instructed by Sensei Ali Cameron who graded to fourth Dan in Kempo Ju Jitsu and 1st Dan in Tang Soo Do and has been teaching Kempo Ju Jitsu since 2008.

Sensei Cameron has PTLLS level 4, an H. N. D in Sports coaching and development of sport, first aid certificate and PVG disclosure and is insured through the Amateur Martial Association.

The instructors will at all times treat everyone equally with respect and dignity and will endeavour to be as approachable and understanding with regards to issues on training as possible.

Sensei Cameron is also available for private bookings and can run blocks of self-defence classes for individuals or small groups which are tailored to their needs.
