Local Lennoxtown band the Counterfeit Clash are to reform for one last time for a Marie Curie charity do and to honour local Campsie man Tommy McFadden who passed away one year ago, the gig which will have another local band the DF118s support the CC in the Drookit Dug pub on January 5th 2019, it is expected to be a well attended gig and people are advised to get there early, 8pm will kick of with some music to get the place buzzing. All donations will go to Marie Curie.

European time trials

Local to Lennoxtown, talented artist and author Yvonne Martin has a book signing in Cumbernauld library on August 11th, please make it along if you can.

Lennoxtowns very own Ska/Punk/Funk/ band The DF118s have gained a slot (as a late edition) at the much established festival "Butefest" next weekend on the Saturday night at 8.55pm till 9.35pm.

Sad to report the passing of Davie McParland former Partick Thistle player and landlord of the formally named, "Glen Tavern" now the drookit dug in Lennoxtown.

Well here we are one year later, and still no all weather pitch.
