Can-Do Community Recycling was born out of a genuine desire, by a group of people with disabilities, to develop a conservation project through a recycling initiative. Can-Do was established in 1989 to promote the recycling of both aluminium and steel used beverage containers (UBC). After Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the project in 2014, project members felt that now was the time to not only expand on what they recycled but also their premises. Thus Can-Do Bike & Furniture project was born. Situated at Unit D within the industrial estate, project members have the opportunity to repair bikes and furniture to resell. Donations of Bikes, Furniture & Bric-a-brac are welcome.
