Caol Laundrette

We recently visited this place and were met by two lovely ladies. It turned out that my girlfriend left her handbag with our passports and also over £800 pound in cash, nevermind the other personal stuff too. There was no contact details for her but on my passport there was my mother's name( who lives in Ireland) they found her and we're able to call her to let her know they had found it. We collected it and absolutely everything was returned. It's these situations where atleast the money could have been taken and just the bag returned... Thank God it was found by the owners of this place. Two absolutely genuine and caring ladies, who I can't thank enough.

The laundrette also cleaned our clothes beautifully and also is the first time the dryer in a laundrette actually dried our clothes within the prescribed time. It also didn't shrink a thing.

In short we couldn't be happier with the service and the two bubbly and helpful ladies.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We were on holidays and needed to do some laundry. Great service

4 washer/dryer units for public use. Laundry soap available for purchase from staff. Service wash & dry available by staff. Efficient machines (1 1/2 hour to do 2 loads simultaneously). Staff helpful & can provide change. Machines only take £1 coins now. McColls Convenience store across parking lot has coffee & cold drinks, etc. Beautiful views of harbour, surrounding mountains, including the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis!
