Lovely campsite run by lovely people in beautiful surroundings and amazing places to visit all around
Good place to have caravan holiday.Mrs Blair is very helpful and rent is very reasonable. Beautiful place for holiday who love natural beauty
Great place for camping under a beautiful view of the Scottish mountains. Cheap place, nice and professional service and all comfort like showers , toilets and dryer.
1 star for the location. Amazing views from the campsite.
Very dilapidated toilet blocks, lukewarm to cold showers (colder when more people shower) with lots of hair and mold.
The road at the campsite is full of deep holes (was being fixed when we were there but the next morning the potholes were there again because of the rain)
Run down in general, we wouldn't stay here again.
Nice friendly staff, lovely views and reasonable prices - can't fault it
Lovley place love the views site is spot on for the money will be back
Superb scenery, great location next to Loch Leven, about 3 miles or so from Kinlochleven. Unfortunately the facilities are not the best, showers and toilets are dated and well past their best. With some investment this could be a great little spot. Sorry but wouldn't come back.
The perfect location and relaxed atmosphere make it the ideal campsite to chill out but there is plenty to see and do for the adventurous, we've been coming here for over 20 years.
Positives are the stunning scenery here, unfortunately no others. We worked from the "Cool Camping" recommendation however...
On arrival we were spoken to through a hatch in the wall, no welcoming Scottish reception as we were accustomed to. The site had been torn up and was was very muddy, it was empty when we arrived and no evidence of corrective maintenance taking place.
Owner apologised for the state of the field that had apparently happened a week before. Unfortunately that's where we chose to stop for the views.
Toilets Showers and Washup area reminded me of a 1980s scout camp, extremely dated, very cold, (no heating and windows perm open when snowing outside). So much so neither of us even ventured into the showers. Washing up is in a three sided old shed where hot water took and age to emerge from the taps!
The site needs to invest in new facilities urgently to come up to the local standard.
The Loch's current is that strong that you wouldn't let anyone out on it esp not children despite the direct water access.
Extremely Disappointed
