Capricorn Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, registered charity 1048511, has been taking in animals and birds for the past 45 years. We take in around 3, 500 animals each year and have over 50 varieties of animals and birds at the Sanctuary. Capricorn is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. We get no government grants, we rely on donations and fund raising to raise the £250, 000 needed to keep the Sanctuary running each year. We are open to visitors from 1 o'clock until 4 p. m. every day but are on call 24 hours a day for emergencies.
