Was here today with my husband and 3 girls was a great place food was homemade and very tasty service was brilliant a lot of attention taken to make sure we had a great meal. Will definitely be coming back �

The captains table is a real find - food is superb - well priced and the service is first class - nothing ever too much for a very attentive staff. The views of the bay are second to none either sitting outside on the plentiful seating, inside the cafe or on one of the 5 large settees looking out over the bay. The captains table has always sold bottled beers and wine but now it is serving draft beers as well meaning I was able to enjoy a pint whilst sitting outside in the sunshine watching the world go by - WONDERFUL

The Captains Table is an exceptional cafe with excellent food and staff. From the fresh, piping hot local butchers burgers to the wonderful sweet delights the cafe never fails to please the tastebuds. The staff are always warm and welcoming and they have always put a smile on my face. All of this combined with the beautiful view of the bay will certainly make your holiday one to remember!

Stunning bbq chicken pizza. Tapas to die for. Chipolatas, garlic chilli prawns and albondigas. Fab staff, friendly locals. An absolute joy in this heatwave but just as good when it’s a bad day. Half is dog friendly, footie on in one part during the World Cup. Knowledgeable staff for all things sea and sailing related. Thanks to Katrina,Simon and all the staff. Xx

Six women, prosecco � all out for a good birthday treat and that's what the Captains table did. Fantastic tapas food by Fay. Excellent friendly service. My friends loved it. We also want to thank Simon and Elisa (sorry if that's the wrong spelling) for a fantastic boat trip. The two of you made it for us.

I am stunned to read reviews on here about the staff at the Captains Table, every member of staff has been polite and friendly, any issues over the hundreds of times I have been here have been resolved professionally, quickly and without any problem. Our family have been welcomed here every time, the food is amazing and the review about cheap EU meats is garbage as the food is sourced from the local butcher. I appreciate that not everyone has the same opinion but reviews should be factual so that either management can address the issue or at least respond and make amends if necessary. I highly recommend the Captains Table to all my friends and family. We've never been let down!

Had such a wonderful lunch today! Beautiful weather and amazing food! Despite it being super busy and hectic the staff was absolutely lovely! Clearly the busiest place in Findhorn, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic food throughout the day I had breakfast this morning with locally sourced sausages, black pudding, haggis and bacon topped with lashings of hot tea and oat toast. Lovely friendly staff.

Cafe with lots of outdoor seating. Prices okay, food generally good (great pizza). However more staff needed -often 1 member of staff doing till/pouring drinks and making coffee - makes for a long wait for service!! All compensated for by totally fab views!

A very relaxing place to eat and drink, inside or out. Food is superb as are the staff. The sofas inside are so comfortable you could be at home, the best place, weather permitting, is outside with undisturbed views over the bay. A great place just to chill.

A fantastic Cafe on Findhorn Bay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is locally sourced and freshly prepared all served in the beautiful setting of the bay. Highly recommended to any visitor!

visited the marina yesterday in the hope of finding some good quality and priced food for a family of 5. Bingo! fab rolls and chips for the kids. we devoured an amazing bbq chicken pizza and with drinks only 29.00 all in. brilliant. they also sold ice cream which the kids loved. great wee cafe right on the marina. make sure you walk down to the marina ( there is a car park with loos) through findhorn. great outdoor seats looking out over the water.

Nice location, pretty pricey but still busy. Decent plateful served up, staff very pleasant.

Excellent food quality but poor service. Ordered 1/2 strength and double americanos but when they came to the table the waitress could tell me which was which. Sell curry and chip or rice but couldn't do curry with 1/2 chips and 1/2 rice!! Generally staff were rude and a bit arrogant

A bit disappointed today! No fresh burgers...no fresh fish and no fresh chicken....but had chicken for a chicken burger (obviously not fresh) � Waited 40 mins for food....a bit too long for just a bacon roll and a "chicken burger" Poor menu �

Unfortunately this cafe refuses to offer soya as an alternative to cows milk (most if not all cafe's have this alternative ) it's in a beautiful location just a shame they can't keep up to date with the needs of customers choices or preferences or am I the only person who prefers a choice?
