Caravan Southerness

We went 11/09/17 the site is clean and friendly, did not use the pool area so cannot comment. Amusements ok (winnings paid in tickets 😫😫) food in restaurant was good although had to wait for over an hour, not good, especially when there are less than 20 people in the restaurant. Teviot Caravan was ok but carpets and seat cushions were badly stained, kitchen area was well equipped but everything needed washing before use, some mugs had been put back without washing them. Good shop with friendly staff. Not an awful lot to do in Southerness itself, so travelling is essential if you want to see things. Cash machine withdrawals (when its working) cost £1.75 / trans ....... not good when you are spending most of it on site. Overall we felt that everything was being run down until next season, would we stay at Southerness again? Def not, another Parkdean maybe.

Used to love it back in the days when the Complex was stil in 2 halves!! Other than the fact that it's stupidly expensive it's stil a good night out!! The entertainment is cracking, a wee while back they had Chico from the Xfactor there and he was brilliant!!

Great place, mostly extremely friendly staff, a few sour puss's but that's to be expected. Stunning views all around.
