Caring And Sharing Charity Shops

About Caring And Sharing Charity Shops

Local Highland charity shops supporting carers and older people in the area.

To help us to provide activities and events for unpaid carers and for older people, we need your pre-loved goods to resell!

Caring And Sharing Charity Shops Description

We opened our first shop on the 19th of March 2010 in Inverness. In 2012 we opened our second shop in Invergordon.

We have the reputation for being the "Quality" charity shop in the city, such is the quality of the donations that we receive in our shop, and that we collect from local homes or businessess for free. We are happy to accept donations of all qualities and quanties as whatever we can't sell in our shop, whether it be shabby clothes, old shoes, broken crockery, well read books or well used linen, we can still make money for the charity through recycling it. Everything we receive we use to generate funds to help to provide a better quality of life for carers in our community.

For 2 years in a row (2011 and 2012) we were delighted to win the "Best Business of the Year Award" on behalf of the Highland News Group as voted for by their readers in Highland Region.

Caring & Sharing has supported Highland Community Care Forum, the Highland's main charity provider to Carers of information, advice and advocacy. Now we make donations ourselves towards activities which help to improve the lives of carers and older people.
