I started Carl Mears Ltd welding and fabrication as I needed good quality gates, built to custom sizes for my AFU Livestock Unit - at the best price. I have over 30 years experience in livestock farming and know exactly what works with regard to handling and feeding livestock.

Over time people have seen the systems and gates my team and I, have designed and produced, and have requested “something similar” to fit their own infrastructure and buildings. Demand from our customers now means we offer a range of products along with a “Custom Build Service ” and also an “Installation Service”.
