We braved the chilly November sun for plenty of photos and even caught a brake in the rain for some sparkler fun in the evening! Congratulations to Claire & Nick on their wedding and coming together of a beautiful family yesterday at St Giles and Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian. It was such a cold day so we braved a few pictures on The Royal Mile after a beautiful ceremony and then quickly retreated back to the reception which was stunningly draped in foliage by Narcissus Flower Shop and School - The perfect backdrop for more photos without red noses and frozen fingers! Such a happy and fun bunch who were a pleasure to photograph, not forgetting adorable Brie the lab who turned up as a surprise for a quick family portrait! Lets also take a second to admire the cake that Sarah made herself and iced with chocolate buttercream in the morning!

Not just one but THREE dresses for Lisa yesterday to marry Will!! The first a traditional red and gold dress for their Chinese tea ceremony followed by a pure white corset and skirt for their wedding ceremony then into a sparkly gold sequin number for the evening. Such a lovely day Hotel du Vin & Bistro for a lovely couple! Congratulations L&W! x

I had the absolute pleasure of second shooting for fellow photographer & friend Marc Millar Photography earlier this year for Claire & Kameels stunning Scottish / Hindu fusion wedding. As a photographer it's so enjoyable to experience every form of wedding celebration and this was a truly stunning day to be a part of! I got to spend the morning with the girls getting ready and was like a kid in a sweetie shop with the amount of jewellery, dresses, sparkles, sequins, fabric and gold bling in the room! Saturday was spent at my all time favourite venue Kirknewton Stables (very bias as it's where I got married!) photographing Vicki & Lewis with friends and family from Edinburgh, Wales and New Zealand where they currently live! It was such a fun day with the show stolen by their gorgeous little girl, Meredith, who just had to be involved during the exchange of rings!

Confession time - I've shot so many beautiful weddings this year and my blogging of them has been non-existant... shameful! With a very cute but very demanding small person to contend with these days blogging seems to have slipped though the net! They breezed their way though the day cool and collected with gorgeous little son Reuben who sole the ceremony in his bow tie and straw hat!
