Carluke Development Trust - Our Town

The Carluke Development Trust group, investing in it's people and place, creating a quality of life through a real sense of involvement in the future.

Carluke Development Trust was incorporated in May 1999, as the result of a community consultation, with a remit to take forward the regeneration of the town.

The Trust is a company limited by guarantee and registered at Companies House, and a charity registered with the Inland Revenue in Scotland.

It sees itself as a community developer, interested in projects that will generate capital and revenue funds to sustain its work.

The four main principles of Carluke Development Trust are:
A thriving local economy
Quality public spaces
A greener place
A sustainable organisation

There is a Board of Directors consisting of volunteers and current in 2014 - 2016 we have a staff member in the role of a Business Development Manager.
