One Man Shoe is a delightful, dynamic and uplifting show for children and families - performed by Jango Starr. The show includes modern circus clowning, slapstick comedy, puppetry, juggling and absurd magic. A truly unique performer - the kids (and adults alike) will love this show!

Vaselina lives the quiet life, safely tucked away on the third floor of a very tall apartment. But all that changes when she is forced to confront the terrifying Baba Yaga who plays her music far too loudly. A new take on an old Russian folktale guaranteed to give you lots to chew on… Supported by the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund.

What an excellent evening at the Carnegie Hall for the Curtis Stigers concert. As you can see from my profile photo.. . The staff were very helpful and friendly.. looking forward to my next visit..

User

Went to see schools edition of les meserables. Fantastic show absolutely brilliant. What a gorgeous theatre first time I'd been there, plenty leg room in seats too

User

Went to see fantastic beasts and we really enjoyed it. So much better than the Odeon and its in the town centre

User

We went to see G4 Superb!

Their supporting acts were also top notch. Great show, well worth the money. Venue excellent aswell.

No complaints really, such alot of talented people out there.

Visited the Carnegie Hall on Wednesday with my mum and dad (85 and 87) for the Royal Marines Concert. Front row seats as mum is in a wheelchair. I wasn't sure it would be my "cup of tea" but what a varied evening of superb music from an extremely talented bunch of musicians.

I think I loved it as much as my parents.

A lovely traditional theatre with very helpful staff and plenty parking.

I'm pretty sure we will be back.

Silver screen at Carnegie Hall was a great experience. Watching a blockbuster like rogue one in a proper theatre setting was not to be missed. Any chance of more showings. Maybe a once a month film club. Classics and new movies. Thanks for putting it on and hopefully see it a regular thing.

Outlander Filming Fife have just held an event in the Annex of Carnegie Hall. The team have been fantastic throughout the organisation and on the day and I cannot thank them enough. You are a credit to On Fife. Thank you xxx

User

Lovely theatre, comfortable & we had plenty leg room watching our show. Sound system was brilliant.

Lovely catch up & drinks in Tiffany's before during & after the show. Nice surroundings x

User

I love this building! It holds many wonderful memories for me. I have sung on that stage many times and my husband and I got married onstage then had our reception in the annexe building way back in 1997! ❤️

User

First time I've ever visited the venue. It wont be the last. Lovely, charming well presented hall. Much more personable than the bigger, barn like, charmless places I've visited before.

User

Chris Barber and band are a class act. Their talent and fun and enthusiasm shone throughout the performance. They feed off each others' enjoyment and skill and the resulting synergy means us the audience got to see a real professional accomplished act to kick off the Fife Jazz festival. 5*

Went to see Fantastic Beasts last night at Carnegie Hall and it was great. Better and more friendly atmosphere than the bigger cinema chains and took me back to childhood at the East Port cinema. Will definitely be returning. And half the price too 😄

User

Visited the Carnegie Hall on Wednesday to see Our House, the Madness musical by the Why Not?Musical Theatre Company. The performance was very good and there was a huge amount of children in the cast. Very enjoyable and well done.

User

LOvely traditional theatre - excellent view from our seats (row C), and plenty leg room. Great sound, The theatre could benefit from a lick of paint/ refresh, as it is showing a bit of age, which is a shame as it is a very handsome building. Lovely entrance foyer and decent sized bar area. Really enjoyed the concert and look forward to returning again.

Jimmy Webb was great, everything we expected. Unfortunately my wife was sitting next to a rude, shall we say, extremely overweight woman, who made it her business to take up as much room as possible, and had no concern at all for anyone within her reach. Other than that, a nice pre-show meal in Tiffany's, with great service, and as I said, Jimmy Webb was superb.

User

Beautiful venue and great performance of 4 acts on the Blues afternoon of the Jazz Festival.

Bar could not cope well with the queues

Food would have been good for lunch beforehand - pity to waste such a beautiful space

Front row was quite chilly

Loved the intimacy as beauty of the theatre.

User

A great local venue hosting a wide range of shows, from local musical groups, panto at Christmas, to regular visits from the Royal Marines Band.

This is the original Carnegie Hall, in the home town of its benefactor, Andrew Carnegie.

Pre-theatre meals are available at Tiffany's Restaurant, or a relaxing drink or morning coffee.

We took our boys to see Peter Pan, what a total disappointment :(

We were bored and this was nothing like a pantomime! No laughter at all :(

We've since taken them to see mother goose at the Adam smith theatre and what difference! Fantastic performance by all the cast and had us all laughing! You could definitely learn from them.

It would appear from other reviews and people We've spoken too that we are not alone in thinking this.

Very disappointed and won't be back.

User

Saw Islands in the stream (Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers tribute show) last night.

Theatre itself is nice and quite intimate, 1st time visit.

Show was disappointing.

Loved the music and the band were great.

Dolly couldn't really sing I'm afraid.

Kenny was a much better singer but often couldn't hear him over the band.

Booked, as a treat, the Pre-Theatre dinner for my wife and I.

2 courses are £12 per person from a fixed menu (3 choices of starter and 3 of main).

I'm sorry, but when I couldn't find a starter and Haggis/Neeps & Tatties and a slice of frozen Flan/Cheescake (not sure which) is the best I can find on a menu, I'm struggling to justify the £12 pp charge I paid.

Definitely an experience not to be repeated.

Sorry.
