Wonderful people at this lovely hotel, can't fault them! Very knowledgable and helpful, owner Heather goes out of her way to ensure guests happiness - would definitely stay again and highly, highly recommend the food ... all excellent!!
We visited on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely and the restaurant has lovely views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back when next in the area.
We only booked for one night and ended up staying whole weekend!! Good food, comfortable room and nothing was to much trouble for Lesley and the girls. Felt like you were staying with family!! 5 stars not enough!! We will be back
We have always had a great meal at the Carnegie over the years. Sunday lunch is fab, banoffee pie is amazing and staff are so friendly and welcoming. A great place to eat!!
We had a fabulous night at the Carnegie for our Xmas staff "DO" thanks so much to all the lovely staff for a fab night , Heather , Lesley , Derek and all the lovely waitress' , the music was awesome the lovely Stewart and June who entertained us from the start of the night right to the end

The best hotel to eat in Tain, Best Food and beautiful homemade desserts my favourite being the banoffee. Great Management and Staff Lovely. U feel well looked after when u come here. I couldn't fault it
Stayed here last night for the one night. The staff are so friendly and speak to you as you have known them all your life.
The food.
Well, what can I say? AMAZING. I had prawn cocktail, chicken curry (special board) and the biggest, tastiest slice of Baileys cheesecake you could imagine. All the food I believe is home/restaurant made & you can taste the difference. The choice is huge and you must be very fussy or mad to say there is nothing on it you would like. Breakfast again has good choice with tasty ingredients.
The rooms.
Great value and comfortable with a TV and free wifi. Not too flashy but it's all you need for a good nights stay. Fresh fruit along with tea/coffee making facilities are in the room as well as some shortbread. If I had to be a bit picky about something is the walls seem very thin as I could here the bloke in the next room having a shower. Would it put me off coming back? Definitely not.

Myself and my brother went here for a lovely meal ony birthday. Phoned up night before and booked table. Had a lovely warm welxe by staff, food was excellent and will definitely be back here again next year when we are up. X

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the hotel for their excellent service at my grannies 100th birthday celebrations yesterday. Nothing was a problem to any of the staff. Everyone that was there had a fab day. Thank you again for helping us make my grannies day extra special x
