**We have spaces available for tutoring** All our tutors are fully qualified and experienced primary school teachers. They hold full PVGs. We can provide assistance with any curricular area for children in primary 1 up to s2.

We are often asked why we don't use worksheets or textbooks. This is the reason why! Kids learn better by doing and explaining!

We are looking for secondary and primary teachers to work with us!

**Who Are We** We are a team of fully qualified and highly experienced primary school teachers. We all hold PVGs, are registered with the GTCS and continue our own professional development and training to ensure we can offer you and your child the best support available in West Lothian and the surrounding areas.
**Who Can We Help** We currently work with children in nursery all the way through to S2. We are also looking to expand to work with children throughout secondary an...d should be able to offer this soon!
Furthermore, our tutors are fully trained to be able to provide tailored support to children with a range of support needs, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD and more!
**What Areas Can We Help With** As we are primary teachers and trained in every subject, we can help primary children in all subjects, from maths to reading, spelling to writing, French to growth mindset and more. With children in S1 and S2 we can provide support for maths and literacy.
We are also able to offer dyslexia and dyscalculia screening.
**How to Start Tuition** If you wish to start tutoring then send us a message. Carol will then arrange a time to phone you which suits you. We discuss what support you require and how we can meet your needs. Once Carol knows this she is able to assess which tutor would be the best fit for you and we can set up your first appointment.
**How Does a Tutor Session Work** The tutor will come to your home at an agreed time each week. They provide all books, stationary and resources required for the session. They plan each session for your individual child to meet their specific needs. We aim to keep lessons are fun, motivational and active as possible and will often use a range of games to help us with this. We do not want learning to feel like a chore!

Some of our kids have been working really hard on characterisation. We've created characters and described them with adjectives.

Carol tutors two of our children. She does an amazing job with them. In the time carol has been coming to us we can see a difference with both their literacy abilities and their confidence.
