Not long now until our Open Mixed Texas Scramble on Saturday 25 May. Delighted to have Kintyre Gin sponsor the event - we have a licence for the event and so will be serving some Kintyre Gin along side the usual wine and beer during the afternoon. Make sure you enter soon before all tee-times booked up.

We love seeing the word spread about our fabulous 9 hole golf course. Thank you @KenBrownGolf (Golf Commentator BBC Fox Sports & ETP) for the tweet and appreciation of what the course is all about. Remember to follow us on @CarradaleGolf if you are on twitter and let everyone know what an amazing wee course we have.

After a two year absence Sunday saw the return of the Macharra cup to the calendar with Captain Willie Ross and his team emerging victorious with a hard fought 3 2 win over their hosts with 3 matches going down 18. Many thanks to all who played and to the Glen for a lovey meal . Looking forward to the return

Kintyre certainly is a golfing paradise and many a golfer stops off at Carradale on their way to Machrihanish to enjoy a round or two. Give us a visit if you are in the area and have a go at our challenging gem of a course.

User

We do say Carradale is a challenging course.... or maybe the views cause golfers to hit astray!
Here are 4 Balls quickly picked out from Elaine and Mike’s collection of balls found whilst out dog walking on the course. The balls do tend to be found by Fern, their Hungarian Vizsla, and not by Mike and Elaine scouring the ground. A quick walk over the course can turn up 3 or 4 balls in the rough.

What an amazing hidden gem of a golf course. Played 9 holes with goose bumps all way around, stunning views and an immaculate condition golf course. 5* all day long.

User

What a great set of challenging holes, great lay out. Views are fantastic. Really a gem of a course. People please stop by, even if it's only for 9 holes. Thank again Carradale from myself and T Allen Wright.

User

Thank you to the folk at the course letting me play today even though it was closed for club championship. I go round lots of courses..this one was number 47 this year. Course is very varied .no 2 holes the same ..thoroughly enjoyed it ..was in excellent condition ..views stunning and very friendly people at the club

User

Stunningly beautiful. Severe punishment just off the small greens so remember to bring enough balls and then just to enjoy being alive.

User

Having just spent 2 weeks in Carradale I have to say I've never seen the golf course looking better. Coupled with the fantastic views Carradale truly is a golfing gem. A warm welcome awaits all visitors.

User

Had a lovely round of golf today. The ladies were in the clubhouse and gave us a lovely welcome. The course is a tricky wee course which certainly keeps you on your toes. The only down side was a 6 ball in front of us who were in fact playing 2 separate 3ball Texas scrambles so we were held up at every hole. Although very annoying it didn't stop us enjoying our game. Looking forward to playing in the ladies open in June. We stopped for lunch at the Network Centre on the way home and had a lovely light lunch freshly prepared, would certainly recommend a stop over here after your game

User

Carradale Golf Course is excellent. It really challenges both the novice golfer and the more experienced player. The greens are quite tight encouraging accuracy and the mix of hills, elevated tees, the natural terrain and gorse bushes ensure that there are lots of interesting situations waiting for every golfer. If all else fails, enjoy the stunning scenery across the Kilbrannan Sound towards Arran.
