Carrera Specialist Cars

I feel I need to add to the glowing praise that Carrera Cars seem to be collecting. I have just bought a Boxster S 987 from Attif and Asim and the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. Living 200 miles away was always going to be an issue but Attif talked me through the car in an enthusiastic way. I was given copies of the service history and invited to contact whoever I needed to confirm that the car was exactly as described. The car was thoroughly checked at the Porsche specialists and was then delivered to my door, clean and with a further invitation to check it all out again. Car dealers are not known for their trustful nature, perhaps more should take a look at how these guys operate, it was evident from the start that customer satisfaction is their top priority. All they need to do now is to open that showroom in Cheshire please. I'll be back.

Sold my car to Asim, nice chap and very pleasant experience dealing with him. Asim has an excellent knowledge and great enthusiasm for the vehicles he specialises in. With none of the other negative attributes usually associated with car sales personnel. He gave me a very fair price for my car which reflected the high level of extras on the vehicle. My dealings prior to this with the national car buying chains were completely the opposite to this i.e. minimum book value and no reflection of the actual specification. Also very prompt service, in my case it was 5 hours between the initial enquiry to payment and collection of my car.

A superb experience at Carrera Cars with Asim and Attif. My first purchase through Carrera and I will definitely recommend them to everyone who is looking to buy a car whether it be one Carrera have in stock or looking to source a particular make/model. The guys really know there cars and after one phone call it was clear to me that they have a passion in what they do and were confident in finding me my new car. Within a week the guys sourced my new Audi A6 and it was perfect, with the specification I requested and had it all prepared for me on the day of collection. The set-up in Hillington is great, and a clear example of how the guys do business, all the cars were stunning and immaculate on display. Overall, a very good experience, very friendly, personal touch and their knowledge about their business is second to none. I will be returning to Carrera for my next purchase that's for sure!!

During the purchase it was offered to me to purchase an exhaust switch valve and controller, I didn’t know what this was. Once explained to me I declined as I didn’t want a modified car. It was removed and I purchased mod-free.
I started to notice a couple of issues, the ambient lighting wasn’t working and there was a rattle in the exhaust. I took it in to BMW. They advised the ambient lighting was not working because the door cards had been removed and the LED had been snapped as well as the fixings. Repair cost £2000. The exhaust rattle was caused by the exhaust being modified to have the catalytic converters removed. Repair cost £2000. I contacted Carrera and the only option given to me was for me to travel up to Glasgow to sort it. Even though non of it was my fault or even made clear to me at the point of purchase. This would cost me £200+ in fuel, a minimum of 10 hours on the road and some 800+ miles on my car in terms of wear and tear and also some 10% of my annual mileage allowance. Extremely disappointed with this as I now have a £4000 bill through no fault of my own and they have £43,000.
