Great wee night ride round Kirroughtree tonight. Almost perfect conditions, though it was pretty sketchy under tyre on the slabby sections of the Black & Red routes. And the muddy, rooty enduro sections were awesome with the lights on!

Managed to put the “mountain” back into mountain biking yesterday by summiting Scotland’s most southerly Corbett - the Merrick. The bright, shiny colours of the Fuel EX 9.9 Project One looked good against the golden Galloway landscapes. Awesome!

Nice wee adventure up North on the Fuel Ex 9.9 29 Project One this week. She’s now a full year old and still a pleasure to be out on! 2019 models are coming in thick n fast so give us a shout if any models take your fancy! ⛰🚲😍

When you disappear off on your hols and find out your resort has over 40 Trek road and mountain bikes for us to use. It’s like being home from home, apart from the 35°C heat and trying to remember to ride on the right hand side of the road! ☀️😎➡️🚵🏼‍♂️🚴🏼 ‍♂️👍🏼

A few shots from the weekend’s ride, which consisted of a push up to the summit of Ben Lomond (974m, 2hrs 15mins), then a gentle wee spin back to the bottom (20-odd mins for Craig - nutter!). Followed by the obligatory swim in the loch to cool down (and wash the dead midges off our skin!!).

Great news of a fantastic bike brand teaming up with a fantastic mtb location!

Catching Rachel Atherton on her snazzy custom blue and silver Session 9.9 coming out the start gate at the UCI MTB World Cup at Fort William today. A snapped chain near the top, crash further down, and she still manages to finish 3rd place! Awesome! 🤟🏼

Kept the ride semi-local this weekend to avoid the worst of the snow and ice. Great day near Loch Doon on firm, crispy trails with a great bunch of riders! 🚵🏼‍♂️👬🗻😍

Lovely Trek (Fuels; EX9 27.5 and the new 2018 Project One 29er) mountain bikes from our shop out on an epic adventure out in the North West Highlands today. Loch Arkaig, Glendessary and a lunch stop at A’Chuil bothy. Awesome-looking day out with big hills, snowy trails, stags galore, and only one “rickety” bridge to negotiate!
