About Carrick Sensory

Passionate About Inclusion

We provide a warm welcome and play opportunities for children and young people who experience
barriers to play, learning and being with others

Carrick Sensory Description

Carrick Sensory

The Carrick Centre has been running for six years and in that time we have become aware that some children and their families find it hard to come in to the centre and take part in activities. This may be through additional learning needs, disabilities, sensory issues or other needs they have.

At Carrick Sensory we want to address this by offering a range of sensory resources and experiences to families and schools in North Carrick and beyond. We hope that Carrick Sensory can also be a springboard for children and young people with additional needs and their families to use the Carrick Centre and other community resources more widely.

We are seeking volunteers who are also passionate about inclusion to help us with this project!

Getting Here

We are next to Maybole railway station with buses stopping at our door. We have two disabled parking bays at the front door and plenty of parking to the rear. We are fully accessible with side entrances for those who may find coming in through the main entrance too much.
