Stayed during the Ryder Cup Sept 2014. Great experience, the staff friendly and helpful, the room neat and tidy for the age of the hotel. The food was excellent and plentiful. They made the dining room accessible to me for online classes that I had to conduct at 7AM. Thanks Ray and Mark AKA the two Aussies.

We were in Dollar for a wedding and were staying in The Castle Campbell Hotel for a few days. The rooms were great, the hosts really friendly and the food superb.

New management.!!!! The Castle Campbell has lost the stuffy meals only feel. Great for a huete quisine sandwich and soup or a meal out. If you just want to meet your mates for a few beers good in the evenings. Lunch time good 4 quite chat too.too @@

Honestly, the place is falling apart, rooms from the 1980s not been done up and experiencing no water at 1 point. Place is a shambles. If you under 40 then this place is not for you, staff are very unpleasant, and if you even laugh they are on top of you, reminds me of a library. they will not go out their way to help you. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS WALKING OUT THE DOOR.
