Castle Cary Holiday Park

Excellent laid back beautiful place. With own castle and onsite pub/restaurant. Pool, shop and cafe.

Holiday park was very peaceful and relaxing. Pub on site ok food was ok. Staff very friendly.

Nice quiet relaxing site with a good pub on site. In need of an update to shower blocks , looking in a poor state.
Campsite itself is in a great location but others around look as good .

Just back home from 4 great days at Castle Cary Holiday Park. Facilities are good however they could all do with an upgrade especially the shower blocks, outdoor pool areas. Also required are far more electric points on the tent field which would certainly bring more people to the park. Other than that it is a relaxing place to spend a few days. Hopefully the upgrades will happen.

Lovely views, quiet but no good for campers, amenties very poor and run down. Only one washing machine and tumble dryer working and have to go to reception for tokens only seems to be a few and they are not emptied unless you ask for some. Found first receptionist very helpful, even delivered tokens to tent for us, but the other one on duty was full of attitude when we asked for some saying we would have to wait until the cleaner had finished her work first. Hence we came home a day early no clean towels etc to use the pools, weather raining nothing to do in he vicinity.
