Well thats the end of another season at Lochside there have been a few changes and hopefully more to come. We wish all our customers our best and hope to see you all and a few new ones next season.
Just a few new pictures of the site on another beautiful day.
This week the upgrading of the wiring and the electric hookups has begun so we will soon have lighted posts with 16amp supply and smart card meters. This may cause some disruption at the start of the season but the benefits of the new equipment should be good news to all in the long run.

Another piece of news Lochside will open on the 19th of March so fingers crossed it warms up a bit
Hello All Just a little bit of market research if you don't mind.How many of our seasonal customers old and new would be interested in a new All inclusive price. This price would be somewhere between the normal pitch only fee and the higher serviced pitch price but would include electricity and awning. I would be very interested in your thoughts so i could take it forward to my bosses. Thanks in advance
You will all be pleased to hear Lochside has survived storm Frank surprisingly well the flooding not reaching bay1 or bay2 but tent and grass pitches were flooded.
Well thats the end of another season here at Lochside i hope all our visitors have enjoyed the site and will come back next year and fingers crossed we may have some improvements for the start of the new season in March 2016.All the staff thank you for your custom and hope to see everyone soon.

Love this place 1.5 miles away so not too far to travel and the pub are great
Love this camp site. Came last year for the weekend not knowing there was a Gala day on. We returned last weekend for the Gala and loved it. Within walking distance to the main town and love the chippy across the road.
We will be returning again next year. From the Wigan gang.
The staff do a good job. The only downfall is the shower/toilet near the camping field, they could do with a upgrade, there was no mats on the floor in the shower room and no hooks in one to hang your clothes up whilst showering but other than that everything is fine.
I come here with my children at least once a year, have been coming to the campsite since I was a child and we love it.No need for the car the town is a wonderful within walking distance.The campsite is basic but it is well looked after with great staff.
