Hello everyone, we hope you are all keeping safe and well. We have been looking back at pictures from last year and came across these fantastic drawings from Cawdor Primary School when our dentist (Rosy) went to see them about dental health...they cheered us up no end x

As we unable to offer routine treatment at the moment and we are hoping this will help. You can get temporary kits from supermarkets and pharmacies. If you are in pain or need advice please ring the usual practice number 01463 234598. Keep well

Hello everyone, you will remember every year we post our Easter Egg decorating Competition, the whole team get involved and we post the entries on facebook page and ask visitors to vote for their favourite. We are closed for now but we still intend to post the team's efforts from home. We will post our entries later today. Vote for your favourite please and keep the tradition going for another year. Should you have any pain or need advice just now please ring the practice number as our dentists are on call to help if we can. 01463 234598. We do have some advice in the meantime but ring us if you are unsure...keep well.

Remember to brush them as often as you would for your natural teeth and over a full sink of water to protect them from damage.. keep well everyone.

We may be closed to routine treatment just now but we want to ensure you keep up your oral health during the isolation. Remember to put a new toothbrush on your shopping list....dont forget the dental floss either. We will be posting regular tips in the next few days...everyone keep well.

Hello everyone, just an update to say we are only offering an emergency service for registered patients at the present time. Ring our practice number 01463 234598 and you will be put in touch with our on call dentist. We will do our best to offer advice and are contacting pharmacies if we need to. Hello Everyone In light of the guidance just received by the Chief Dental Officer – our dental practice is now only operating an emergency dental service. We are working hard to contact you all personally by phone, email or text to cancel routine appointments.
Please be aware our reception team will be available over the next few days to answer your calls and identify whether you have an urgent dental need. As such, please can patients refrain from physically attending the p...ractice in person.
As soon as any further advice or guidance is provided, we will keep you informed of any changes. We hope to give you some clarity on when normal services can resume.

Hello eveyone, after all the serious posts and important announcements I would like to say that we are still here for you if you need us. We will see you for check ups, dentures, orthodontics, implants, facial aesthetics and tooth whitening impressions. We can make a list. Above all if you are pain or need advice. YOUR DENTAL TREATMENT AND THE RECENT GUIDELINES
There have been some new guidelines concerning your dental treatment from 18 March 2020 Castle House Dental Practice are strictly adhering to all Government and Health Body advice and the chief Dental Officer for Scotland has set out precautionary measures for your care. Your safety and those of our dental team has always been our priority.
... Please be reassured that: *We can continue to carry out routine check ups, hand scales, extractions, implants, facial aesthetics,orthodontics and denture work.
*We will be reducing close contact with those most vulnerable (those over 70 years of age, with underlying health conditions and those that are pregnant). We will give you a call if you already have an appointment booked.
*We will be removing the some dental procedures that produces any aerosol and may be unable to do some fillings, root treatments and crown and bridgework. We will still do these treatments if you have a dental emergency.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
