Enjoy the scenery and large range of outdoor activities of the Cairngorm National Park, from a home base of a fully equipped cottage situated in the beautiful highland village of Braemar. Two minutes walk from the village centre. The cottage sleeps 2 adults in King Size bed and up to 2 young children (sofabed & cot). Included are washing machine, fridge /freezer, microwave, cooker, woodburning stove, electric panel heating, power shower, FreeSat TV, DVD's CD's, books, board games, highchair, 3 wheel pushchair. Garden is shared with owner. Off road parking.
A welcome pack of groceries and wood for the stove is provided on arrival.
Braemar, in the heart of Royal Deeside, is an ideal centre for walking, climbing, cycling, golfing, fishing, shooting, skiing and sightseeing. Cycle hire is available. With its strong royal connections, Braemar also hosts its annual Highland Games annually on the first Saturday of September. This is attended each year by members of the Royal family who watch the proceedings from the famous “Royal Box”. Braemar has an excellent 18 hole golf course in beautiful surroundings - Children are welcome at membership of £30 for the year.
