Cat-Like Tread Description

Let us introduce ourselves. . .

A keen Gilbert & Sullivan fan, Sarah has been hoping for years to get together a bunch of enthusiastic, talented people to bring the delights of her favourite comic operas to a Fringe audience.

Well, 2014 was the year.

Farlane wholeheartedly agreed and jumped right on board with the project, and when Vinca said that she would like to get involved, Cat-Like Tread was born!

The Pirates of Penzance was the obvious choice for our first show. With directors and producer in place, we were joined by Lindsey as our musical director and our first production team was complete! Pirates was a rollicking success with sell-out shows and lovely reviews from an enthusiastic audience.

In 2015, we returned to the Festival Fringe with H. M. S. Pinafore. Another well-received run and lots of fun had by all!

We tackled The Mikado next, a longer and more challenging production, so it was just as well that the wonderful Rae came along to co-direct with Sarah, and Gillian, our amazing vocal coach, stepped into the role of MD.

Now we've checked the "big three" off our list, we're excited to turn our hand to The Sorcerer for edfringe 2017. Directorial dream team Rae and Sarah will work together once more, joined by CLT veteran Tom as MD. Come and play!
