My sister and I booked a table at quite short notice and both ordered the rib eye steak and hand cut chips. It was gorgeous and the service was really good. One of the best steaks I have had in this country! We are going to take our Dad next time- he adores good steak.

Their interior design is great. I especially loved the bar stools, copper sinks and taps.

Most amazing seafood platter and cullen skink! Everything was delicious and the staff was really helpful - I was really struggling to decide even though the menu isn't huge but they were lovely and patient and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience.

Had a lovely pre-theatre meal here yesterday .Great presentation great service great price next time am definately getting the beer battered fish my friend had that and it was delicious

Had a lovely evening meal, to celebrate the all clear after ten years. The staff were amazing, accompanied by some of the best food I have ever had

Had a lovely anniversay meal at Cattle & Creel , restaurant is lovely. Meal was delicioius, we loved it and staff are a lovely, super efficient and very attentive. I can thouroughly recommend the steak, ribeye medium to well done, totally converted, however the dessert, Expresso Panne Cotta is something else. 10/10 thanks for a lovely night.

Could do with more draught beer/lager to pick from, if your a gin lover your spoilt for choice. Would definitely go again.

Unusually, my husband and I both ordered the same starters and mains so we can only comment on one dish of each. If Carlsberg made crab cakes! WOW! then we had the haddock, chips and peas - delicious. Particularly loved the minty crushed peas and homemade tartar sauce. Just one other comment - the loos...impressive!

First time there and couldn't fault it in the slightest. Table for four booked in advance for a friends birthday, window seats on Fireworks night. Food was perfect we all had rib eyes cooked just the way we wanted them. Starters and desserts beautifully presented and tasty.

Choice of Blue Becks and 0% Koppaburg which i was delighted with. We will be back and wish I'd tried it sooner

First time in Cattle and Creel wont be the last . Great food we had burger with chips and wrap with chicken also with chips. We saw someone with the Salmon looked great and the Mussels looked good also. The staff were very friendly. The toilets are worth a visit.

Fantastic food speciality must be fish just had the most beautifully cooked monk fish with chips real chip then sticky toffee pudding n ice cream the table service was outstanding pleasant friendly helpful staff the management should be proud of the front staff and the chefs ... wonderful wonderful wonderful...

Never had a bad meal always has been exceptional ....

Everything about our meal was perfect. Best fish I've had for a long time. Popesye steak was done to T. Kids menu good portions & tasty pasta. Staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets are spotless. So glad we stopped here for our Impromptu dinner. We will be back. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Enjoyed a lovely steak tonight...thurs offer being steak night with wine...cooked to perfection...peppercorn sauce is delicious as are the handcut chips..first time sitting at the back of the restaurant...very pleasant surroundings and love the open plan kitchen...definitely worth 5*...

1st time visit and will definitely be back food was delicious and our waitress / waiter were very attentive & prices very reasonable

Been here a few times now recently as last week and always have been really pleased with the food .so I thought I would take my mum for the first time today .fish was lovely as always but really disappointed in the vegetables � two slices of aubergine that I couldn't cut and a slice of courgette and one cherry tomato cut in half ? Yes I suppose that does qualify as Mediterranean vegetables but kind of expected a bit better variety and quality....we did mention this at the time and cant fault the response or apology from our server , although maybe if he had mentioned it to the chef and got back to is that would have been nice ?
