Cbt, Emmaus House Description

My name is Janet Matthews and I offer CBT in one to one and in group work sessions at Emmaus House, a Scottish charity which I founded with a friend. I have extensive experience as a nurse, an NHS Manager and a Lecturer in Higher Education. Having completed my training in CBT in 2012 I now work with people who have a wide range of problems e. g. , Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic disorder, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Low Self-esteem.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help you, or someone you know, make sense of overwhelming problems. By exploring thoughts, feelings, and actions you will learn how unhelpful thoughts and behaviours can impact on emotional and physical well-being. In my experience as is reported widely, CBT works for those who are ready to make changes in their lives and will commit to a tailored programme over a number of weeks.
On this page I will share CBT tips, images and advice which you can use or share with a friend. I will give you links to evidence based CBT online resources and keep you up to date with the programme of CBT group work at Emmaus House, you can contact me direct or by messaging me through this Facebook page.

To find out more you can email me or message me through this page. Tell me a little bit about you what is troubling you and give me a number and a time to call you back.

CBT concession rate £35 per hour, Group work is £20 for a 2 hour session and you have added support of those in a similar situation. If cost is an issue contact me and we can discuss other possibilities which may help.
