1 Day Emergency First Aid Course (Qualsafe Awards)
August 7 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm - £75
The emergency first aid course is designed for low risk environments and as a contingency for first aid cover in the event that your Workplace First Aider is unavailable.
... On successful competition of this course, delegates can become an emergency first aider at their place of work. It can also be a useful “refresher for First Aiders” to maintain their standards between the First Aid at Work course.
The course contains the following:
•The role of the first aider •Effective Casualty Communication •Contents of first aid box & how to avoiding cross infection •Recording of incidents and accidents •Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
Completion of this course provides each delegate with knowledge in:

CEIS Ayrshire are working in Partnership with Access to Employment Ayr to deliver the Ayrshire Traineeship Programme, this Programme is a paid opportunity and will run for 8 weeks.
You will gain the Ayrshire Employability Award and the possibility of a four week placement which could lead to full-time employment.
To be eligible you must live in South Ayrshire and be aged between 16 – 29, and be more than 6 months unemployed.

NEW Course - 12th June The Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders at SCQF Level 6 (SCPLH) is a nationally recognised qualification which has been developed to meet the training required under the Licencing (Scotland) Act 2005.
The syllabus enables candidates to understand the law in relation to:
... The roles, responsibilities and functions of Licensing Boards and Licensing Standards Officers The application process for a Personal Licence The application process for premises and occasional licences, mandatory and discretionary conditions Protection of children from harm The content and purpose of an operating schedule and risk assessment Drunkenness and disorderly behaviour Licensed hours Control of order The responsible retail sale of alcohol Unauthorised licensable activities Rights of entry to licensed premises The roles and responsibilities of the Personal Licence Holder and the penalties relating to failure to comply with the law
This course is accredited by BIIAB.
Other Requirements: Candidates will be sent a handbook in preparation for the course. Candidates must bring valid ID on the day of the course.
This course may be eligible for ILA funding.

Kara's seminar at the Business Expo 2016 on Social Media was first class! She was so enthusiastic, passionate and bang up to date with her knowledge - I learnt A LOT. I am very much looking forward to attending her half day course in June. Thanks Kara! :-)

I had a attended the social networking for business class through CEIS Irvine, it has been extremely useful and they are still assisting us in our new ventures. Great team members at Saltcoats and Irvine who have been so polite and helpful.

Guys went above and beyond to allow me a space for the accounts course and for the payroll course. So helpful and friendly. Recommend these guys to anyone looking to sit any of the advertised course 100%. Thankyou Kara �

Got kara as a business liaison officer since completing the strive course she's been great lots of different job opportunitys, ones which are not available on the job sites also.

From the front office to my trainer they were helpful, welcoming and it was a fun couple of days. Keep it up. Oh and I passed.

Done the strive course through ceis. I am now working full time while volunteering twice a week. A big thanks to Louise �
