Each year we strive to be a carbon neutral festival so are delighted to be working with Scottish Water to provide artists with reusable water flasks for use on and off stage.

Thank you to Paul Weller, Lucy Rose, Eddi Reader, Ross Wilson, Rory Butler, Eric Bibb, John Smith & Katie Spencer for an unforgettable night celebrating John Martyn's remarkable music, alongside a band that featured John's friends, including long-time friend and double bass titan Danny Thompson.
A night that many won't forget.

The Tom Russell gig at St Andrews in the Square ( supported by the fabulous Cera Impala and the New Prohibitionists ) was absolutely outstanding ! Glad we moved back downstairs though as the sound in the gallery was not so good - a bit muffled. However , once we moved back down we were absolutely blown away by the sheer quality of the performances . When Tom sang' Who's Gonna Build your Wall' I though the roof was gonna come down with everyone joining in at the top of their voices ...and as for California Snow....had me greetin....so so good !! The guy is a total legend ....

The Biggest Indoor Winter Music Festival in the World, and nobody in Scotland seems to know about it, or as my nephew thought, that it was something to do with 'The Old firm!"

User

Roddy Hart's Roaming Roots Revue the best, I book that then just plan my time around that, always combining with a bit of Late Night Sessions at the Drygate - a great time to visit Glasgow. 2 weekend trips already planned, cant wait, finally getting chance to see Martin Green's FLIT ļæ½

Quick 3 day visit from Oxford to Celtic Connections did not disappoint with The Eskies, Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band, Braebach and Beoga plus all the acts at the festival club. Only disappointment was not able get a flight back on Sunday so we could stay another night to see Treacherous Orchestra . Thank you to all the venues, the staff who worked and provided excellent service and hospitality and the organising committee. Looking forward to next year.

User

Phenomenal opening night at @ccfest and we were so privileged to have front row seats! Couldnā€™t single out any particular act as they were all stupendous, but we were on our feet by the end, spurred on by that amazing step dancer. Unforgettable ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½

My find at this years festival was John Paul White. The atmosphere in the Mackintosh Church was just buzzing and as he said himself, the acoustics couldn't have been better. Now listening to his CD "Beulah" with a big grin. Hope he comes back soon.

User

Must be the best musicians for a fair ticket price. The variety in many of the acts is fabulous.

User

Jason Isbell was fabulous they rocked Glasgow last night, please bring them back next year.

Anderson East the support for Jason was also brilliant & his musicians were amazing bring them back.

The o2 abc was buzzing and both bands were outstanding.

User

In the audience at Dougie Maclean concert. I could listen and watch this guy every day and twice on Sundays. His singing and audience interaction is seamless. A mixture of new songs and timeless old favourites, guarantee a good night out at Celtic Connections, courtesy of Mr Maclean

User

Had a great time. Brasilian band at Fruitmarket on saturday were stunning. First visit to Drygate. A gteat venue. Guided to it by a lovely Sudanese Drygate resident when i got lost. Only downside was the ticket office at concert hall was a tad disorganised. See you next year.

User

Had a fabulous night at the launch of Iona Fyfe's new album "Away from the Window' at Celtic Connections.

Held in the Strathclyde Suite in the Royal Concert Hall the large stage suited Iona and her 6-piece band.

The sound quality was excellent as her lovely Aberdonion voice was never over powered by the band.

She kept the gig flowing with her enduring use of the The Doric and whit.

Also a big shout out to the band who greatly added to the entertainment with subtle use of their instruments.

Also the much appreciated audience where encourage to join in during the show and they seemed to love the Piping which added to the atmosphere.

All in all an excellent evening and the Scottish folk scene is in good hands as Iona continues her singing career.

Fantastic night-great to see some legendary artists and some new talent especially Honey blood- what a fabulously talented duo and what a drummer! Kris Kristofferson recognised it by actually approaching her after their set. Great night Roddy

User

Fabulous night in Barrowlands at Skerryvore and 3 Banjo, great atmosphere, nice and loud with crowd going crazy!

User

As someone who has attended every Cherish the Ladies concert since their very first appearance at the festival, I would have to say that Thursday night was one of the best ever! I wanted it to never end. I'm sure they used to appear annually, then every two years, but now it seems to be every three years. For many of your festival supporters, Cherish the Ladies is the highlight of the festival. Can you please persuade them to come back annually? Thank you!

User

Another fantastic evening courtesy of Celtic Connections. Been part of our calander for years and will hopefully continue for many years to come.

User

Amazing festival so far. The 25th Anniversary Concert was amazing - so many great musicians! Everything else has been fantastic as well. Great fun at the late night sessions over the weekend at Drygate Brewery.

User

A fabulous concert with an awesome array of some of the most talented musicians in the Celtic world of music!! Thank you Celtic Connections, what a fantastic job you all do to give us these weeks of terrific music and song!!

User

An occasion we always look forward to, having been to concerts in all previous Celtic Connections. Would give five stars if you could invite Cherish the Ladies to come EVERY year - their concert this year was the best ever, showing the musicianship, singing, dancing, storytelling, all over entertainment which is the soul of Celtic Connections. This group should be invited every year, they were sadly missing these past two years.
