Been quite the last few weeks as I plan new projects and undertake the necessary admin. I will respond as soon as I'm able to any queries. I will be releasing the fruits of those projects over the next months.

Seems Fb didn't like the racy image I posted! So I here's an old favourite and once more wish a happy Valentine’s Day to all my clients and a thank you to all those who bought sessions and gift vouchers this year.

I rarely take children's portraits, but I had the opportunity to use an outfit from Encore Dress and Vintage Agency to capture this little angel at my Pin Up Belles day at Caledonian Railway last year :) Hair by Liam Hansen

A throwback to 2016 when I first worked with Scarlot Rose at Aberdeen beach in the early morning light which is one of my favourite times to get soft natural light. Trying my hand at new grading/editing techniques for some projects coming up.

Who's Looking forward to the weekend? I'm in the process of putting the finishing touches on a project that's been in the planning for 5 years. I'll put up sneak peeks next week of a great location for a shoot.

In with the bells with a view to the future.
Over the next few months I'll be undertaking less personal photography as I start to focus on a new project which means there will be periods you won't see new work or news about what projects are ongoing. However I will still be accepting photographic and IT work from clients.
The new project is both a new venture and a a journey which will be an expansion of Celtic Shadows services.
... To all my clients I hope you all have a prosperous and successful 2019,

As 2018 comes to a close it’s time to look back at some of the shoots that took place. I would like to say a big thank you to the following organisations: The Tivoli Theatre Caledonian Railway Royal Deeside Railway Preservation Society and Drum Castle, Garden & Estate / The National Trust for Scotland for assisting and providing amazing locations for sessions. I would also like to thank Gosia Weiss, Blush&Beauty, Encore Dress and Vintage Agency, S O U H U I Modiste Tatty's Original Ruttu Ruttu Pea Soup (Smoke Machines) and many more people for providing additional services.
However, all this would not be possible without the support of the models and clients over the last year who have been amazing.

An early studio shot, it was the first time I had access to a studio and learning how things worked. Yvonne had a 60s vibe for the session. Shot with a Canon 10D and a 70-200L f/4 Mk I.

Glitzy street portrait from the archives. Taken at the Green in Aberdeen. Shot with a Canon 30D and 85mm lens.

A model portrait from the 2007 archives taken on the streets of Aberdeen. Photographed with a Canon 30D and a Canon 24-70L. This was taken with a flash gun in an umbrella blended with ambient light.
