Our Congregation:

We are a very friendly, welcoming congregation of all ages located in the centre of Paisley and close to the University of the West of Scotland. Our services consist of sound, Bible-based teaching and a blend of modern and traditional worship. And almost everyone stays for fellowship and refreshments after the Sunday morning service. Several groups exist for socialising and fellowship including the "Tabletalk" student meetings and the Ramblers who regularly enjoy hill walking. Our fun Sunday school is well loved by all the children. The newly refurbished worship area is as comfortable as it is beautiful. In the Baptist tradition, we are evangelical in our theology and outreach. You are warmly invited to visit and join us in worship of the Lord Jesus, the study of God's Word, and the sharing of fellowship together!

Our Denomination:

Baptists are Christians who belong to the world's largest mainstream Protestant denomination. They are to be found in over 200 countries throughout the world. Baptist churches arose out of the Anabaptist movement of the Reformation period. They began in England in the early 17th century and in Scotland in the middle of the 18th century. The first Baptist church in Scotland was established in the village of Keiss near John O' Groats in 1750. Baptist congregations have existed in Paisley since 1795.
