Another super weekend of sport, not quite so lucky with the weather today as Saturday which was glorious but none the less we all made the best of what we were given. As always our thanks to the army of volunteers who keep turning out to provide the man power required to put the event on, you all know who you are , to many to consider mentioning, it may however take you a day or two to recover from the caffeine and sugar rush provided by our wonderful catering team. Our spons...ors require mention as again without your continued support we quite simply could not maintain the standard we have now set, many thanks to you all. Of course all the competitors who support this event and only sorry we could not fit you all in, we are restricted as to the number we can run each day. The build team on the cross country excelled again and is a challenge to keep bettering the event, one which we all relish. Lastly my committee need special thanks as without them and the endless hours put in we definitely would not have an event. I hope you have all arrived home safe and look forward to seeing you again in 2019!

We have been watering the showjumping and dressage.
The cross country already has good grass cover, the aggrevator and vertidrain machines will start nearer the time where all competition and warm up areas will be treated.

We are absolutely gutted that we had to give in to the weather. I hope you can all see we have tried but we had to draw a line. We had less than half the fences in their final position and every attempt just made more mess. I hope you all get a run soon, hopefully Forgandenny will be able to kick of the season in Scotland. I hope to see you all in August and really sorry we were unable to make this event happen.

Thanks for yet another fantastic event. Courses and overall organisation on the day was perfect which made for a very enjoyable outing. Looking forward to the next one! Well done to all involved at Central Scotland Horse Trials! X

I heard about this event while photographing the Overton point to point.

Went along on Sunday with a colleague and it was a day to remember. Great event with lots of action and the added bonus of the good weather.
