About Centre For Global Equality Student Society

CGE Student Society organises the Cambridge International Development Conference, and connects students with an interest in international development to the vast network of NGOs with whom the Centre for Global Equality are connected.

Centre For Global Equality Student Society Description

The Centre for Global Equality (CGE) is a network of NGOs, academics, businesses and individuals who work collaboratively towards reducing extreme inequality, a root cause of poverty and marginalisation globally.

As the student society, we support this work. We enable students interested in jobs tackling inequality to learn more about the relevant fields; connecting students to NGOs in the CGE network, and hosting events.

Once a year, we hold our annual International Development Conference. In 2018, this will be held on Saturday 17th February, at St John's Old Divinity School.

We also support the Missing Maps Cambridge community. Information can be found here: https://missingmapscambridge. wordpress.com/
