Thanks to everyone who attended our Burns Supper last night, especially to Jim and Bev for their presentation and Graeme for his 'alternative' Immortal Memory. A mention also for the chefs who produced such wonderful food and the staff who worked hard to ensure the evening went smoothly. Cannae wait till next year!

User

Blue Lyle and Scott wooly jumper. We believe it to be brand new as it was left around Christmas time. If this is yours please let us know.

User

We are looking for someone to provide some traditional entertainment at our Burn's Supper on Saturday 26th January. Please contact us if you would like to help out. Great rate of pay! We also require to borrow a data projector and a screen if anyone can assist.

User

Thanks again to everyone who supported the Inn for the Hogmanay and New Year's Day festivities. Record number of dancers outside at the bells and some interesting dancers inside also. Great fun! Free sandwiches tonight around 7.30 and FA Cup football. The kitchen will remain closed for the next couple of weeks.

User

If anyone fancies helping for a few hours at the bar tonight please let me know. Piping, heating stovies and serving all at once may prove to be a step too far!

User

We are having a traditional village Hogmanay party tomorrow evening. If you feel like coming along and playing a few tunes or giving us a song, feel free. As always we will be dancing 'The Gay Gordons' outside The Inn after the bells. Unfortunately no-one under 18 is allowed on the premises after 9:00pm

User

Great night with James Herkes winning the steak pie in a very close final. Tonight's teatime football is Liverpool v Arsenal at 5.30. Pop in for a pint.

We still have some spaces for dinner tomorrow if you're out celebrating the start of the holidays. The kitchen will close after tomorrow until next Friday 28th December.

Today we received a wonderful addition to our portfolio of Christmas decorations. Named cuckoo in red paint it will grace the bar for the duration of the holidays.

We poped in on the off chance that the Scotland England football game would be on the TV. What an atmosphere there was. Cracking wee pub warm welcome from all and nice service from the barman. Oh and did I mention that I picked the 1st scorer in the game so won £20. I'll definitely be returning.
