What a beautiful place it is, with some giant opd red trees. Please just leave the trees there. The country park is unique with all the trees in it 💚

The former hunting lodge is very deceiving, as the areas open to the public are much smaller than would appear from the outside. But that aside, the areas that are open to the public were interesting and informative. Subsidence, caused by sand quarrying, causes a lopsided feel within the lodge and this is an experience in itself.
The country park itself, is covered with woodland walks and cycle pathways, most leading down towards and along Avon water gorge. A great place for a day out.

A great place to visit, fantastic views and a great visitors centre. Kids love the play park. There are plenty of walks through the woods and cycle tracks. The visitors centre has a great coffee shop.

This place is amazing! So much to see, lots of walking trails and open space to explore. Always plenty of space to park with an overflow car park too. Great place if you have kids as there's a large play park at the car park entrance.

I've been here with my dogs a few times now and went a different route every visit! Highly recommend.

Wonderful park with great walks throughout that I took my late Westie many times over the years. A great deal of Scottish history here, including the Duke Of Hamilton's Historical and refurbished Hunting Lodge, which can be hired for weddings. The ruins of 15th Century Cadzow Castle too, sited just above the River Avon. Beautiful scenery with many miles of walkways. Loads of events throughout the year and a nice place for waking, running, bike rides, dog walking and family picnics etc. There's an information centre and coffee shop too with toilet facilities available. There's a great adventure / play park for the kids too! Plenty of opportunities to view wildlife and excellent photography too. Plenty of parking available. Can be a great day out for the family.

Beautiful place. Extensive network of well maintained walking trails including connections to Strathclyde country park. Have never been in the venue but it seem to be a popular choice for weddings.
