The word Chauffeur conjures up a private, luxurious, rich experience usually afforded by the select few. Yes Chauffeur services cost more than a taxi service but the experience is far more rewarding & comfortable & not as cost intensive as you may think.

We are a family owned & operated by business in central Scotland. My wife Kirsteen & I decided to start the Chauffeurs business as I had been driving clients own cars for the past two years & had enjoyed this work. The hours were mounting up & one of my best clients suggested purchasing a vehicle suitable for the job. The Mercedes V class X long wheelbase was the choice and it has been a star performer since taking possession of the car. The V class can take up to 6 passengers in comfort & class with a full compliment of luggage. I had a removable towbar fitted which can be removed when not in use, this allows me to use a small trailer for sports gear, golf clubs, bicycles, X large cases and the like. The passengers have the added luxury of a pull out adjustable table to use with electronic devices & to host a refreshing beverage on the go, making the most of any journey of any distance. Privacy glass in the rear of the V class adds to the passenger’s care avoiding onlookers or the glaring Scottish sun. The V class was an immediate hit with my existing clients proving the level of luxury in the Mercedes was up to the Range Rover & Rolls Royce owners standards, here’s to all the benefits of the V-Class with extra dynamic flair: the Sport model features 19" alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke design painted in matt black as well as LED headlamps with Intelligent Light System and LED tail lamps. Inside, you’ll find black nappa leather with a matt anthracite wave-look trim to match the sporty theme. Ambient lighting allows you to choose between three colours to suit your mood the V-Class offering Agility Control comfort suspension and Active Parking Assist with reversing camera as standard. The V class Sport is 5, 370 mm long, a leader in it’s class in every way.
As a result of having the V class & starting the business the turnover started to go up with Kirsteen having a positive impact on the business attracting clients looking for female drivers, a small niche in the market where we are looking to expand. We invested in web development & marketing. The business goes from strength to strength with enquiries coming in from all over Europe including Sweden, France & Germany & from further afield such as Dubai & North America. I truly take delight in showcasing Scotland to my clients & on a recent two day Highlands Tour blessed with some great weather, the Scottish countryside was utterly spellbinding in it's beauty. We started in Edinburgh then visited Stirling Castle, Scone Palace, Glamis Castle, The Hermitage, the Cairngorm Reindeer Herd finishing in Inverness for the night. Our second day took in Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe, Glen Etive & then back to Edinburgh. My French guests had a wonderful time & experiencing their reactions to our wonderful Scottish countryside was a joy.

My next venture now is into golf tours as I am a PGA professional to trade, a member of the British PGA since 1990 beginning at Royal Troon golf club in 1989. The Chauffeurs business & golf tours business will compliment each other & I will be expanding the fleet soon to cater for my guests. I have already good relationships with many other transport businesses in Scotland who I can call on for extra vehicles to help with the workload. I have also connections with private concierge services in Scotland to further extend my business offering including Helicopter transfers, private aircraft charter, exclusive accommodation hire, private boat charter, Michelin star food experiences and all other concierge services in Scotland & the UK.
