It is with great sadness Fiona and I have decided to close Chequers This has been a hard decision ( in the words of my brother - A brave decision )... but the right one as working seven days a week has taken its toll on our health and family life.
We have had the pleasure of meeting so many fantastic people who have become friends and family over the past year in our Happy Cafe and have had the best times at our special events and social evenings! We would like to thank ea...ch and everyone for their help and support! Special thank you's to our children, to Lindsey Porter ( Yoga ) , to Joe , the boys and music folks, to Jayne ( Burlesque and Laughter Breakfast ) and to Lila ( Spanish lessons ) - to name but a few.....

An amazing night of fun, feathers laughter and dancing lovely ladies having lots of fun in the beautiful surroundings of Chequers Creperie. This was my crazy idea at the time but I wanted to do this I wanted this for our local ladies and I was fully supported in my plan by Fiona who helped make our night extra special by being there and looking after us 🙂. I hope to do this again the ladies are asking already and I am a wee bit proud to be bringing the fun and magic of Burlesque to Falkirk . A massive thank you to all the ladies who made it such a great night, Fiona for all her help and the lovely Chequers Creperie for allowing this to happen.

In this 2 hour masterclass you will learn basic burlesque skills feather boa and glove work. You will also learn a dance .
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in leggings and a vest are ideal or dress it up a bit if you want... (skirts are not recommended)
Bring a pair of heels if you want....this is entirely optional and we dance barefoot .
This is suitable for women of all shapes and sizes and levels of fitness.
There is no stripping involved we remain fully clothed.
