Happy New Year everyone. Just a wee reminder that the Cherish groups are back on this week.

Our Decluttering the Parent Brain Sessions were really successful. I know a few people wanted to come along but weren't able to manage - hopefully we will repeat them at some point in the New Year.
There will be NO Nurturing Mums this week but we will be back to our normal group on Wednesday 6th November at 8.00pm.

🙈🙈 just noticed a grammatical mistake in my original post about tomorrow nights Decluttering the Parent Brain session. Sincere apologies for that everyone. However, there are still a couple of spaces available for the session. If you have suffered from any trauma around the birth of your baby or if you have found the change to becoming a parent overwhelming then please come along. I guarantee it will be worth while.
Class starts at 7.45pm with tea and cake/biscuits, followed by discussion with Caroline and then some deep relaxation with Jacqueline. £10 per person. x

It's our final "Decluttering the Parent Brain" session this week and we're going to be looking at Trauma & Change.
The birth of your baby didn't have to be "traumatic" for you to feel traumatised after birth. Sometimes just giving birth and becoming a parent is in its self traumatic. The change it makes on your life can be traumatic.
Come along and here Caroline Wilson explain what we can do to help ourselves overcome any trauma we might feel and how we can incorporate the ...changes to our life as easily as possible.
If you would like to come along please PM.

Do you ever feel that you are “not good enough” as a parent? That others seem to be doing better than you? Parenting isn’t something you get tested on or get graded on because there isn’t a “right” way to do it. There is no such thing as a “perfect”parent - we all have different views, different skills, different ambitions and different children.
So accept that as a parent you’re doing “good enough”. As the parent to your children you’re perfect.
If you would like to hear mo...re about “being a good enough parent and attachment” please come along to our workshop tonight (16th October) at 7.45pm.
Please PM to book - all parents welcome.

Happy weekend everyone. Hope everyone is having a good weekend (was going to say relaxing but you have small children).
Our “Decluttering the Parent Brain” sessions continue this week with our session on “Being a good enough parent and attachment”.
Do you give yourself a hard time for not being a “perfect” parent? Some things in life we can do perfectly - parenting isn’t one of them! Strive to be good enough. Not a perfect parent but the perfect parent for your child/childr...en.
The session is guided by Caroline Wilson who is a qualified therapist and counsellor. We end with a deep, guided meditation with Jacqueline.
Spaces are limited so please PM to book your place.

Last night’s “Decluttering the Parent Brain” was a great success. The next one - Wednesday 9th October - will be looking at Sex and Sleep! What are they I hear all you new parents say! Those old friends who used to visit regularly together but now you have to choose which one you have and neither come along as often as you would like!
Caroline Wilson will be talking us through how to get a bit more of both and how to cope when you’re not getting enough of either!
To book yo...ur place or for further information please PM.
