Cherry Croft Cattery

Cherry Croft Cattery is a small family run 5* rated licenced cattery in the village of Waverton near Wigton in Cumbria.

Cherry Croft Cattery has been built to the highest modern standards in accordance with Allerdale Borough Council and Feline Advisory Board specifications. It is fully licensed with a 5* rating from Allerdale Borough Council, insured and regularly inspected by the Environmental Health Officer and a Veterinary Surgeon.

We want your cat to enjoy a comfortable and peaceful stay with us here at Cherry Croft. Each five star chalet has a quiet rural setting. We are purely a cattery, so there is no barking of dogs which may prove stressful to your cat.

Accommodation:
We want you, the owner, to be assured that your pet is being cared for by knowledgeable people in a hygienic environment with, fire and security systems. We like to give each cat individual quality time so that they settle in quickly and remain as happy as possible during their stay with us.

Each cat, or family of cats, has its own individual chalet. This comprises of a penthouse sleeping apartment which is fully insulated and heated, together with a spacious covered outside exercise area and scratch post. All chalets are separated from each other by a full height sneeze barrier to guard against infection. Everything is provided including beds, bedding, toys, litter trays, food and water bowls. You are most welcome to bring anything you like from home to help your pet to settle in.

Vaccinations:
All cats must be fully inoculated against feline infectious enteritis and cat flu and we insist on having sighted the certificate before accepting your pet.
