Frangipan tarts - fruit but with an almondy base. You can still kid on it's healthy though!!
Sniffed out a chocolate truffle cake. When I say sniffed, I mean baked.
Chocolate pecan tarts - sooooo rich but hey - rich is good!
Another alternative Christmas cake and also a receptacle for lost reindeer noses.
Shortbread biscuits Chrismassied up! Fiddly and faffy but hey ho!
An alternative Christmas cake - no dried fruit, just sponge and chocolate - oh yeah!
These are orange and hazelnut biscotti. First attempt and, although there is a danger of breaking your teeth, they seem to have worked well. Thank you Bake Off Cook Book.
Blackberry and apple jam filled cinnamon and apple muffins - there were 12 - need I say more!
Aawwww honey, you made a cake! Honey, walnut and spice cake to be exact. Would cut into 16 easily and still be a good mouthful.
Rasp and choc towers - got to make good use of the berries from Angus County.
Ventured into the polenta camp. Hmm! Cracker with grilled polenta and topped with courgette and chilli jam. Jury is still out. Sunshine cake is a sweet treat - 6 layers of lemon and orange sponge - might be the only sunshine for a while!
Almond slice with homemade raspberry jam under a moist sponge for a not too sweet treat.
Chocolate stars - who needs a telescope!
Malteser cake and crostini with pea and broad bean pate, feta and pancetta about to be delivered with sandwiches, wraps, cheeseboard and other delicacies to the first lunchee of the week. Nearly had a chocolate coma icing this one.
Just Got Engaged? Enjoy a personalised cake to share.
Austrian sachertorte cake going out tomorrow to a customer. Some relief at the result as I made it some years ago with much less success.
Maybe a slice of rugby cake will may you feel better about the score!
