Hello I’m Claire and I am a fully qualified SCSWIS (Care Inspectorate) childminder and member of the Scottish Childminding Association.

I live in a mid-terraced home in Cloverbank, Ladywell with my Son, Adam and two cats, Poppy and Jasmine.

Having my son completely changed my outlook on life, he not only taught me patience and true unconditional love but to live life to the full every single day. Only the other night while putting him to bed he turned to me and said “thanks mummy for pretending to be a doggy with me and helping me polish my dog bed” its wee moments like that that make me realise how much they love and benefit from us jumping into their world and making each day happy, educational, silly and enjoyable.

Many of my friends and family have encouraged me to take on a new career in childminding after seeing how much fun Adam and I got up to on our little adventures.

I have loved nothing more than watching the children learn new things and develop at their own pace, it’s extremely exciting to me and very rewarding to help shape your little Tots.

I fully understand that returning to work is extremely tough for parents, however be safe in the knowledge that I shall treat your child as if they were my own and I hope that would go some way in helping make your journey back into work that little bit smoother.

During the Care Commission registration process I have undertaken rigorous security checks to become a registered childminder. Below is a list of my relevant qualifications.
