Chiquito

Possibly the worst food in general ive had in a long time.....im not actually sure what waa worse, the food or the service. Our bill was practically thrown at us!!!!

Food is always lovely although service can be very slow at times. There was a most unfortunate smell in the restaurant today, not sure if it was the heating system but certainly not condusive to eating.

Attended tonight to celebrate hubbies birthday. Unexpectedly appeared with hot fudge brownie pudding with a candle and happy birthday wish. Great end to a lovely evening. Thankyou to all the staff. You were fab☺

Meal was good, service good except kept waiting for Dessert 20 minutes. Candle not lit on table and dessert dishes were not clean. Nice cocktails with plenty of choice. Friendly and helpful staff.

There are mixed reviews of this place,but we recently went for a second visit and I have to say both times we have had great food and great service.The menu is excellent and there is nothing I can fault.We booked in case it was busy (a friday night),and were shown straight to our table.Service was speedy and friendly ,with no problems even though the place was full.Highly recommended,we will be going back!

Very, very slow service despite being pretty quiet. Took 1hr 40mins for two courses, looked like staff were too busy chatting. Recently also used Chiquito in Livingston which had excellent service. Fortunately the food was pretty good but don't go there thinking you can get a quick bite to eat before a movie.

Breakfast was brilliant, fab, filling and the most important part....not greasy! Black pudding to die for! Coffee was fab too.

Went at 10pm on Valentines day and had the whole place to ourselves! Waiter was very humble, helpful and chatty. Starter nachos came quickly and they catered perfectly to my no dairy dietary requirements and my boyfriends dislike for guacamole ha. We got a set deal thing which was £10.something each for a starter and main course and the portions were huge! We had to box some stuff from our main to go after being defeated ha. Try the mocktails too they're amazing.

Tasty food, bit on the pricey side though. Waiting staff were great.

Service tonight was very slow despite the restaurant being practical empty. Staff seemed disinterested. Quality of the food??? There was none very disappointing I would not recommend this place

Was off to a good start when I first went in great friendly staff waiter that was designated to us couldn't have been nicer but just after we were served our main the waiter must have finished her shift as she disappeared and we sat for half an hour with empty plates on the table we tried to get the attention of some of the other waiters but them being assigned to other tables were usually rushing about after finally getting the attention of someone we waited another 25 minutes to get the desert people who arrived after us ordering desert were getting served food and desert before us! We then tried to order another drink which we end up giving up on, the food was okay but certainly not worth £75 for the two of us getting a shared starter one main each and a desert to share all in all glad we tried it but would certainly try else where before going back

I was there 3 years ago and swore I'd never return site to the shocking service and poor food. Went last night for sons 15th birthday and nothing has changed. The chicken wings to start had absolutely no taste. Is liken them to the tesco ones but tesco ones are better. Soon had steak fajitas and he was left hungry due to the miserably small portions. My burger was totally tasteless. They have a cheek charging what they do for this quality and quantity of food. Won't be back.
