Interesting... I had the pleasure in meeting this customer yesterday. It was obvious from the start that we were never going to make her happy, after providing her with two meals (both of which ended up in the bin) she decided that she was leaving. Now i pride myself on the policy 'customer is always right' so i didnt charge her for her meal and apologised. I did charge her for her tea as i dont feel personally responsible for Mr Tetleys brew, maybe she could have a wee rant... about that to him. 2 things that Mrs Main is ill informed upon is 1. We are not under new management just got new plates and 2. Our cook has been with us for 17 years and as far as im aware our famous steak pie is just as traditional and awesome as it has ever been (never mess with the cook) I think the thing that has upset this customer was the hilarious response she got from my other customers happily shovelling their steak pie away. I thought there was going to be a lynching as the entire pub turned on her in defence of their steak pie... i suppose what im trying to say is that i once again apologise to Mrs Main we cant always please everyone, and take this opportunity to invite you all along to try our steak pie and i will chuck in a free cuppa, courtesy of Mr Tetley.

It's actuall Christina's Bistro now. These wonderful people were able to satisfy this Canadian's craving for a decent cup of filtered, drip (non-espresso bean) coffee!!! Food and service were excellent too; included a penshioners menu. What's not to love!!
I had a lovely lunch with two friends here in July. The food was delicious! Great service too. The atmosphere was cozy and I'd love to eat there again.
Had a really lovely lunch on Tuesday. Great service, great food and really excellent value and good portion sizes. Will be back soon.
Had a meal for 12 for husbands [surprise] 70th. they set the table with linen table covers. nothing was a bother to them. Even played happy birthday to my husband when they brought out his cake . Staff made it a special night. many thanks and WELL DONE

Been to Christina's three times since it reopened with daughter and brother,good choice on menu,and prices are very good.I have recommended Christina's to friends.The staff are friendly and are good for a laugh with public,you are made to feel welcome.�

The food was nice, but there's was a funeral tea on in the pub, and i think when something like that is on, the restaurant should be closed to the public, as a mark of respect, just my opinion, its a lovely friendly pub in the long run :D
