As I'm still waiting for my refund, I thought I'd repost my review. Here goes...I was holidaying in Edinburgh from Australia and I commissioned the owner, Chris Ness to make me a ring, paid him 50% deposit with the promise that the ring would be ready to ship to me in 6-8 weeks. Ness is a charlatan of the highest order! Dozens of emails and broken promises, after 8 months, he finally agreed to refund my 50% deposit because he couldn't make the ring to the agreed specification. He sighted severe cash flow issues for no refund turning up on the agreed time and then it was radio silence. Since then, he won't return emails or pick up the phone. Almost 12 months to the day the reality is, I'm never going to get my deposit back. Chris Ness is nothing more than a petty criminal. Chris, a message to you, I'm planning another holiday to Scotland and Ireland shorty, and I will be paying you a visit to collect my refund.

Additionally Chris, a local Edinburgh Woman reached out to me and she shared her dreadful experience dealing with you (she brought in her Mother's ear rings for repair and after the promise of a repair in a week, many weeks past an it was only the threat of involving the Police, did you return the ear rings unrepaired) and she has kindly offered to work with me and the Small Claims Court to ensure you repay my 50% refund. As I see it, you have 2 options, 1, honor your written commitment to refund my 50% deposit or you will be hearing from the Small Claims Court. I'll give you 1 week and if I do get my money back, option 2 will most certainly happen.

When my husband and I were searching for a place to create our wedding bands we had a list of possible jewelers we were looking into. We knew we wanted a local place and not a large High Street shop since that was one of the most important details for us.
If my husband was sharing this story, he would say he knew we were at the perfect place when we were greeted at the door by Ralph. I am a huge dog person and Ralph's smiling face, wagging tail and demands for rubs won me over instantly. When deciding on all the details of our wedding bands, we worked with both Chris and Lukasz. They offered so many suggestions to things we had never considered before and our bands are perfect for us.
We also had my two engagement rings resized (since they were family heirlooms) as well as having my husband's signet ring repaired. All the work was preformed perfectly, professionally and without any complaints.
